Vomiting for 12 months

Hi all
getting very concerned about my lil boy. He is 18mths old and has always been a sicky lad.
We have always been told by the docs that he will grow out of it. Now, at 18mths he is still being sick and was sick 9 times last night in the space of 2hours.
We saw the docs again last week and he suggested it could be a dairy prob so we changed his diet and he was ok for 2 days, then the vomiting returned. He seems to be ok for a couple days and then hes constantly vomiting again. Its really concerning now as at this age i dont believe he should be vomiting this much and for the length of time thus has so far gone on. The doctor said last week also that he did not want to over-investigate this problem. Its getting mum and dad really down, any ideas on what we can do or who we can see?

Also at 6months he got dissentry and has recently had bronchitus and laryngitus.

I think you need to ask your GP to refer you.
Why does he not want to over-investigate the problem? Has he done anything to investigate, or just thrown suggestions at you?

Hi. Unfirtunatly every time we see the gp they just say its nothing to worry about or he will grow out of it. Last weeks visit is the only.time they have suggested anything and then e was making reference to his nephew who was aparently the same.
How do i get a referal?
Also he never said why he didnt want to overinvestigate, again referring to his nephew
