Rash around 20 month old mouth

Help! My 20 month old has a constant red rash around her mouth. Sometimes its really angry and blisters, other times it looks soooo dry and cracked. It doesn't seem to bother her which is one thing. I have been to the doctor 4 times and been prescribed creams and have used so many creams that people have recommended, no luck with any of them.
Any advise whatsoever will be greatly recieved.
Thanks Fashmum

Is she teething - gnawing hands and spreading drool around so it can't heal?

Have you tried cutting out any bath products for a while?

Obv not a Dr. but you could try a does or two of piriton see if it reacts to that might be an allergic reaction to something she has often.
My DD gets a red rash if she eats certain things containing tomatos but its not constant.

Impetigo?

Does it have a yellow crust when it blisters?

If it is this, it will require cream or oral antibiotics. It is very contagious and most schools nurseries do not allow children to attend when they have it.

Having said all that, whenever my two have had it, it has gone away very quickly with treatment.

My nephew had a very similar thing when he was young, my sister said it was down to drool (from teething) and him constantly licking his lips. Her Dr suggested putting a thin layer of Vaseline on when he was asleep and it seemed to work.

DS2 had and still has a similar thing because he has very dry skin. He used to suck his thumb that made it a lot worse.

We put a film of vaseline on morning and night, especially in winter when the air is dry, to keep it under control.
