my ebf 4 month old baby is full of cold and generally feeling grotty. He is in a pretty good feeding routine - every 3 hours. He seems to want to feed little and often at the moment and i know it is a comfort thing. I am inclined to let him, do you think he will go back to routine once he feels better?

poor baby

re the routine, who knows? IME they are always changing routines!

But i'd be doing what you're doing - for comfort if nothing else Smile

IME ds always fed 100% more when recovering, making up for lost weight during illness.

Def keep feeding. The little and often will prob make more watery foremilk so your baby will get the fluids needed to fight a cold. Mine always did the same and returned to normal.

Thank you so much, seems much happier already.
