Patch of tiny bumps on DS' back

I've recently noticed when putting DS to bed that he has a patch of tiny little bumps in the middle of his lower back. I hadn't noticed it before because you can't see it at all - I just got him to lie down so I could have a look at it.

It doesn't seem to be itching or hurting him. Does anyone know what it might be? He's 3 BTW.

molluscum ?

Thanks for reply. Just googled that and it says they are usually 2-5mm - his are much smaller. It could almost be a patch of dry or scaly skin, it really is invisible to see so hard to tell.

Eczema? That's how DS's appears on his back (other patches in other places look different).

Ooh, DD has this all over her tummy. It odoesn't seem to bother her the way my niece's ezcema bothers her but it makes her skin feel very rough. Is it eczema anyway?
