DD with little spots at side of mouth and on chin - 8yrs

Hi All - DD often gets little tiny spots on her chin and at the corners of her mouth. Looks quite dry too. Always seems to come in colder weather. I am not sure if she's not wiping her mouth after eating and it's food/juice dried on to her skin that causes the spots or if it's just dry skin or something else.

Is there something I can buy that she should use to wash her face or is warm water ok? Also is there anything I can buy that might take this away? Would a bit of savlon do any good? Or some plain cream?

To be fair, it's very faint but I just want to know what causes it!

Thanks!

Impetigo maybe? Do they go a bit crusty looking? If so, you need an antibac cream from the GP.
