Discharge in 8 yr old dd

Is it normal for 8 yr old dd to have a discharge? She complains her pants are wet but discharge very slight & doesn't smell or look like thrush & not there all the time. Just wondering if this is normal in girls like it is in women or does it mean an infection of some sort?

Totally normal unless it smells etc, I started getting it around that age, just before I started getting little bits of pubic hair.
