Just been looking in DDs mouth she has been teething forever and have spotted what looks like a brown spot/hole in one of her top front teeth that has just broken through her gum.

I am now worried I have wrecked her teeth with bonjela use! Any body else have this happen with their childrens teeth.

My Dd1 has brown spots/holes (decay really) at the top of 3 teeth and theyve been there since they came through (she's 2.9).

I think some of it may be down to all the dried fruit she had when we started weaning - raisins, apricots, dates, sultanas etc

But, she has incredibly weak teeth. She has chipped 2 teeth. I was told it could be linked to antibiotics she had as a newborn and again when she was about 18mths.

I have also read that adult teeth should be fine. The dentist was completely unconcerned.

She is very good about brushing her teeth and has a little electric tooth brush. It hasn't worsened but I try to keep an eye on it in case it causes her pain.

I think Bonjela is sugar free isn't it? I doubt you've caused it tbh.

Thanks for replying, its just visible as the tooth has come through the gum so the whole tooth is not out and I will just have to watch it.

Hi, I know the thread is old but,
Did the tooth end up coming through normally? Having the same issue my little ones tooth looks like it’s coming through but the part I see coming out of the gums is brown?? I always brush his teeth morning and night don’t use a lot of toothpaste either, I brush his gums a little aswell as his teeth.
