Any reason why dd has one and she's 8??

Don't worry, every girl/woman has one. Often it's too pale to see most of the time but sometimes it is naturally more pronounced, especially during hormonal changes such as puberty and, if course, pregnancy. It could be that her body's gearing up for early puberty but it is more likely to just be one of those things. It's certainly nothing to be concerned about.

ahhh, rainbow. i posted the exact same thing when dd turned 8. HUGE hormonal surge started right then. painful breast tissue, growth, everything.

I mentioned it to a doctor, as dd also had a problem with her hip during this time, and he looked at me like i was crazy. but it was there. very clearly. it faded aftera couple of months.

Thanks for responses. I will tick that off my list of things to worry about then!
