London Health Programmes, in conjunction with NHS London, is undertaking a review of paediatric emergency services in all London hospitals.

We consider input from patients to be an integral part of this review, and are seeking to form a patient panel with representation from across London to support the development of commissioning guidance on paediatric emergency services. This group will provide those with experience of paediatric emergency
services in London with an exciting opportunity to help improve and shape the future of these services across the capital.

Membership of the panel will be via application. If successful, you will be expected to attend monthly meetings which will last approximately 1.5 hours to:
· provide input into how paediatric emergency services across London could be improved/ should be developed to best support the needs of patients
· provide advice and views from a patient perspective
· facilitate the sharing of positive and negative aspects of the patient experience.

Two co-chairs of the patient panel will also be appointed and be expected to also attend the two, monthly clinical expert panels.
