Because dd is infested!

Have put on the full marks solution tonight and seem to of got a lot out but another friend has told me that she hasn't has much luck with it!

Nitty gritty comb is apparently available on prescription! free for child. Not particularly helpful on a fri eve but worth getting.

I have found Hedrin v good

I never use products.

I have tried babyoil (and towel) overnight for a v heavy infestation. They drown and drop off.....

My tried and tested is minimum 14 days of conditioner and combing every other night. Works every time

my 2 have really thick hair and the lotions just don't touch them

Combing plus at least 2 applications of hedrin. And more combing.

Comb with the nitty gritty comb, on wet hair with conditioner. Got rid of DS's in 2 days like this, and it's very satisfying to see them all come out.

Thanks, she is still scratching but have combed and other than a few eggs didn't find anything alive! Am wondering if the nits bites are like flea bites and still itch even after they have gone iyswim?!

toothbrushthief - do you put wash hair and put conditioner in everynight for 2 weeks? I can't see that being very popular with dd who hates having her hair washed!!

I have done the combing and although I expect it would work if you did it every night for two weeks, for obe reason and another that is always hard to actually do. I have used Fullmarks and another one I cant remember the name of and have found that they do work. They are very hard to wash out though and make hair look greasy-wet for days.

No - every other night for the first week and then every three days next week.

I used a tea tree oil shampoo as it was supposed to help but it gave mine dermatitis. The more they itched the more heavily I applied it...

I find combing and wiping into a bit of tissue really effective
