skin tags

DS is 3 and has got an awful lot of skin tags on his torso - say 10. They have emerged over the last few weeks, don't bother him, and are not looking red or irritated. I have been monitoring them and wondering if they will disappear of their own accord - they haven't, is it worth getting my practice nurse to look at them? I haven't worried about them as I have quite a few myself, but I am starting to wonder a bit...

I'd definitely get it checked out. Are you sure they are skin tags? Molluscum contagiosum is a skin condition common in children and can look a bit like skin tags.

Either way the nurse will be able to advise you. Smile
