One year injections- how does your area work?

Ours used to do the one year boosters at 12 months then MMR at13 months.
They've now combined them all into one appointment ' for efficiency ' and 'people disliked 2 appointmdnts'

A friend who used to do the injections but has since been restructured said she wasn't happy with them changing it to one appointment as it's a lot of injections in one go.

I've asked for dd3 to have two appointments but I have to speak to the person who does them.

What does your area do ? And would you be happy with these all in one go?

Ours does it separately like yours used to. Although it is a PITA and for my convenience I'd prefer it all to be done together if it's safe to do so.

Our is all together now to get it over with, but if a parent insists we let them come back - rather than have them un-immunised.

I was offered the choice at the first appointment, although it wasn't a terribly well-informed choice as I wasn't aware it was an issue. We had a quick chat and I decided that all at once was fine. I mean, I certainly think it is fine from the jaggy-things-in-the-arm POV, and the nurse was telling me it was fine from the becoming-immunised POV.

Thanks. When my other two were younger there wasn't a 12m booster only the MMR.

Hi HJ. DD has just had the three all together, on Tuesday. It was 12 and 13 months when DS had it four years ago so it had changed for me too. Apart from the shock of three jabs, bless her, she's been fine so far. No reaction at all to the Hib and pneumococcal which they said would be 24 hours if it was coming. I'll just have to see if she gets a bit poorly next week when the MMR kicks in - hope not as she's starting creche!
