Slapped cheek

My dd has a bright red rash on her cheeks. The gp thinks it is slapped cheek. She has no other symptoms. Is she still infectious? The gp has told me to keep her off school but has given me a leaflet which says if the rash appears then the child is no longer infectious. Does anyone know?

My DD had this. Doctor said that once rash appears they are no longer infectious (GP had to google this to double check though Hmm)
