DD's had very painful nappy rash recently which I've put down to teething. It was getting lots better with calendular and sudocrem and the doctor prescribed some cream (forget the name) which was finishing it off nicely.
However, this evening she went to sit down in the bath and stood up again as often happens when her bottom is very sore. She's developed some small white specks around her bottom, sort of in the crack and around the anus which seem to be very sore.
I didn't put anything on them because I didn't want to cause any further irritation, not knowing what they were. Any ideas? The doctor took a swab to check for thrush (precautionary) and the results will be back on Monday. Could it be thrush?
