What can I give her she keeps coughing and is all snuffly. She's 4months she's breast fed and I'm feeling under the weather too so hope she'll get my antibodies.

Have you tried propping up the head of her moses basket/cot when she is sleeping?

Steam can help to.

You can get saline drops to help clear the nose.

We have the same problem. DD is 2 months, breastfed and both of us have very annoying sniffly cold with itchy runny nose. She is vomiting up mucousy milk after every feed today.

Have been out and bought saline spray in case her nose gets blocked.

Oh dear I thought she seemed better yesterday but she's been up half the night coughing and her nose is all blocked, better get out for the nose drops.

Just brought her in to my bed at put her up on pillows 5 mins later sleeping soundly now to find something to prop the cot up on tonight.

you can use breastmilk instead of saline drops to clear a blocked nose - just aim up her nose and give a good old squirt Grin

She will HATE it, but you will be rewarded with a huge sneeze and lots of snot!

How much should I prop up her bed. Unfortunately my milk doesn't have much of a squirt but I've heard all the uses now!
