MMR booster - when?

When should second mmr vacc be given? I phoned surgery to ask and they booked DD in for this week (she's just 2). Looking in my red book it seems to say age 3-5. Was the receptionist wrong? Low vacc area here, so maybe they try to get them done earlier?

Thanks. Perhaps I should ring HV tomorrow to ask what they do round here. Can't face a trip to the surgery if it's not necessary!
