itchy rash around thighs & lower tummy

DD has this since yesterday, any ideas what it could be? The only thing I can think of is that we tried her in a towelling/plastic training pant thing overnight, which she peed in but didn't wake up so was in it for a good few hours probably . Could it be this or do I need to take her to the chemist/doctor?

May be a reaction to the urea from her wee...my daughter sometimes wets her PJ bottoms and always reacts like this. I wash with water and aqueous cream then dry and apply more aqueous cream as a barrier. If it is this it should settle in under 12 hours if she remains dry. Due to distribution it is most likely a contact rash, only other thing is if the towelling was new and hadn't been washed before use she might have reacted to the finish the factory put on...same treatment would work and should clear up quickly. Main thing is to check it's getting better not worse. if worsening a trip to doc to rule out thrush/eczema etc might be needed depending on her age.
