Probably a silly question, but first time (and hopefully last) dd has had. The dressing looks really light but we've been given no advice on aftercare. Can dd have a bath as normal?

Hiya-providing there is no fresh ooze from the dressing you can just put a spot plaster over the puncture area which falls off naturally. She can bath as normal.
Hope all goes ok for her.

Dh has them often Sad
They tell him to remove dressing next day or earlier if bleeding stops. Bath as normal after dressing off and just pat dry.
Painkiller is normally needed to take ache away for first 24 hours

Thanks. Remarkable that DD experienced no pain - as promised by the doctor, she was up and running around straight afterwards and no pain even the following day.
