just changed my 7 mo ds's nappy and noticed a little White worm. Have googled and sound like threadworms, now I am berating myself for not being hygienic enough although I am careful with hand washing etc. Got a drs appt for tonight and about to wash the bedding etc, but is there anything else i should do?

Don't be so hard on yourself. I remember getting them a lot as a kid, they are easily treated.

Ok thank you, I have read that the whole family will need treatment but I am bf so not sure if I can take it?

Hmm not sure about that, best to ask the pharmacist. Hope little one is ok soon!

Was it moving, are you sure? Maybe a but of thread, fibre of clothing or nappy.

No big deal even if it is worms, just keep an eye for a few days first though to make sure as you don't want to give non necessary medication.
