Hi,
My 6 month old has been having wet stool for a week now his wee bum is red raw and I've been using egg white to clear this up but my worry is the constant wet stools he's happy enough and eating regularly but what is causing this?
Went to the doc today said it could be a virus. That doesn't help the wee lad though any ideas...?

When you say wet, are they offensive smelling. I know that poo never smells like violets, but some infections smell really nasty.
Did the doctor take a specimin for culture to exclude bacterial or fungal infections?
I would repost about the red bum bit. I honestly doubt that egg white will help.
