Bruised Ribs in DS

Ds was riding his bike on a path whilst we were walking the dogs. Whilst going down a steep hill he fell off and has grazed his arms and tummy. He was going very fast and hit the ground very hard. He is saying the inside of his chest hurts. I have given calpol and he is in bed. Do you think he could of bruised his ribs and if he has does he need to be seen by gp. We are going on holiday tomorrow.

I would say thats probably all he's done, however if the calpol doesn't seem to help then it may be best to pop along to your local walk in centre to get him checked properly
