Chicken pox and holiday exposure

My 13 month old dd and I have just returned from holiday with friends and thier kids. Two of the children we were with came down with chicken pox when we were there. My dd is not yet showing signs of it. Is she contagious? Should I keep her home in case? Thanks.

chicken pox shows between 10-21 days after they catch it, hope that helps x

the incubation period is 10-21 days as said above and they are contagious for 1-2 days before the spots appear until they crust over which is normally 5-7 days after they first appear.

She might not catch it. Ds was sharing food and everything with a kid we didn't know had cpox (nor did his mum as they were in his hair then) and he didn't catch it.
