Hi, my 5yr old son will have an op very soon to treat his inguinal hernia. Does anyone have any experience of this with their child? We are wondering how long he will be feeling 'a bit under-the-weather'? He's worried its going to hurt for a long time. Would like to give him a day out afterwards to look 4ward to but not sure what's a realistic time frame to wait. Have 2 other sons wanting to 'do stuff'. Any help would be wonderful!
