BCG wound

DS (now 4 months) had his BCG jab in hospital at a day old and at his 8 week check this had still not 'healed' which our GP said not to worry about.

We are on holiday at the moment and the wound is now bleeding and weeping. Am confident that he hasn't caught it on anything - any ideas? I have covered it with a plaster, but am not sure whether it would be better to let the air get to it?? Will obviously get it looked at on our return..

Its normal for them to get weepy and gungy for many months. Usually dont bleed- as in a steady stream of blood, but provided the arm around it looks a normal colour, do what you are doing and enjoy your holiday.
