Question about "W" sitting and hypermobility

I suspect dd, aged 7, may be hypermobile due to various things. Does anyone know if being able to sit in the "w" position is something only children with hypermobility can do at this age or can children who are not do it too?

I sit like that, very comfortable - no idea if I am hypermobile or not. ds is hypermobile, can sit like that, been told to actively discourage it, he grumbles as he'd rather sit W for carpet time than cross legged which he says makes his feet go to sleep.
