slap cheek rash

Hi

I think my dd may have paravirus (slap cheek). What is making me unsure is the fact the rash seems to come and go throughout the day. Sometimes it is the textbook red cheeks and rash on body, but sometimes it seems to fade to nothing. Has anyone any experience of this? Could it still be slap cheek, or does that rash not fade? Thanks

iirc ds' rash came and went for a couple of weeks once he was over the initial period of unwellness.

Thanks LIZS. It's still coming and going today but I've heard there is loads of it going round a playgroup she goes to, so I'm pretty sure that's what she's got. At least it's another virus out the way!
