Molar pain in 7yr old.

DS keeps screeching in pain saying his back tooth hurts. Only lasts for a minute or so, then it stops He's been to the dentist and she says all is well, so we think it's his molars trying to push through. Has anyone else's DC had pain like this? He's not the most stoic person in the world, so I can't tell how much it really hurts. Is there anything that works in terms of pain relief?

Yeah, 7 yr molars, nobody tells you that they teeth again at 6-7yo! Have you tried otc painkillers (Calpol) or Anbesol?

Thanks Ragged. I might try Anbesol - he hates the taste of Calpol.

Does it really hurt that much? This morning, he was beside himself - really screamed. I was a bit taken aback. Within five minutes he was okay again though. Confused
