Splinter embedded in 18mth dd hand

We went to the park yesterday and dd was playing on the wooden climbing frame. I have noticed today she has 3 splinters embedded in her hand, there isnt any part of them showing and the skin feels completly smooth over the top of them but I can see them. How can I remove them or are they safe to leave?

Leave them, they will most likely work their way out. Just keep her hands as clean as you can and watch for inflammation. TBH even if they do get inflamed I would still leave them, unless the sites were oozing, then I might take the child to the GP.

I remove splinters while they are asleep. Little pin prick and then use tweezers to get them out.
I'd leave them for now though unless they're getting infected.
