DS and sore foot - WWYD?

DS aged 4 woke up with a sore foot today - couldn't put it on the ground. He's had this twice before, both the day after being on the beach and running on hard sand - that's what I put it down to anyway. That's not the case this time - yesterday was a normal day, no beach in sight... It's usually ok by the end of the day. Today it's fine now! Have a GP appt at 3. Would you take him or not?? has anyone else had this with their LOs?

is the pain in the arch and heel area?
could be plantar fasciaitis (spelling prob wrong) and it can be caused by ill fitting shoes, going barefoot, walking or standing for long periods etc. You can get little supports to put in their shoes.

hope you went to the GP anyway

Thanks ashamed - I did go, and GP didn't know, Suggested wearing supportive shoes for a while and rest.
