colostomy reversal

My 18month old son is due to have his colostomy reversed on Sunday and was just wondering if any body else has went through this and has any advice. Ccn hasn't been of much help and just said he will get a really bad nappy rash! Just wanted to know what all I should prepare myself for

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi there

This is a great thread for support and advice from other parents going through stoma reversals and other related issues.

Good luck for Sunday I am still waiting for the date for my DD's reversal - she was born with imperforat anus and has had a colostomy since she was 5 weeks old.
