Dd has come home with it today-lots about. Can't find info on quarantine online and dh picked up but didn't ask. Any ideas about how long if at all she needs to be off?

Yes. Can be dangerous to pg women

There is no benefit of not going to school (or work) if you have this infection as you are only infectious before you develop the rash. The infectious period is for 4-20 days before the rash appears. By the time the rash develops, it is no longer infectious.

Thank you for info! I am in hospital at the mo, pg with a baby lying funny so would be good for everyone if dd could go, but obviously if it was infectious she couldn't and we'd just have to get on with it.
