5 month old vomiting after each feed

my 5 month old ds has had 2 feeds today and has projectile vomited both of them up - not sure what to do? he seems otherwise well, chatty, smiley and no other ill signs - is it likely he has a tummy bug? I gave him pear for the first time yesterday - should I just give him water?

Any advice would be great

Just giving him water in the next few hours will not do him any harm at all juliec26.
Watch his nappies and his general condition and if they are normal try him with milk again this evening. If not, or if he can't keep water down, take medical advice. Hope this helps.

Has he got a bunged up nose? DD is sick especially when beginning a cold and can't breathe through her nose when having a bottle. She therefore breathes through her mouth at the same time and gets air bubbles when cause projectile vomiting.

Thanks Ladies I just gave him water as he kept that down and then offered him milk last night, which he did keep down - he has kept he's 6am bottle down so finger crossed a 24 hour bug! :) x
