My dd (6) has started waking at night complaining of thirst. She isn't particularly thirsty through the day, doesn't appear to be urinating more and is otherwise well but should I be worried?

Maybe she's just getting a bit dehydrated in the warmer weather, but it might be worth getting her blood sugar checked at the GP - the nurse could probably do a finger prick test - to put your mind at rest? If it continues you could then see if anything else needs investigating further.
