Viral pneumonia help

dt1 has viral pneumonia was in hospital last wed for 36 hours. He's not getting much better and his breathing has been worse today.

The Gp saw him this afternoon and his Sats were 94, he's going to check them again tomorrow and maybe re-admit if still low.
He's been asleep since 6.45 but still breathing fast 50 Breaths per min, snd is clammy to touch.
He half wakes up moaning every now and then but is shattered.

Anyone had experience of this?

Btw he's been in steroids and an inhalour and has had a temp.

It is normal for sats to drop when sleeping, it normally takes a good few days of Ds maintaining his sats during the day before he can at night.

Glad he is on the mend.
