He has fever, high temp, very lethargic and has projectile vomited back everything he has eaten today Sad

Doc diagnosed tonsillitis and prescribed antibiotics n paracetemol.

Make sure you give him antibiotics and make sure he drinks - think you can give them diahrolyte but check - DS had tonsillitus on and off and they finally took them out at 4 yrs old after him having 8 weeks off of preschool.

It is awful but he will feel a lot better when the antibiotics kick in and they will kick in fast.

Don't worry to much about eating for a few days just push the fluids in. Syringe is a good idea if he won't drink otherwise

Icecream or ice lollies to numb the pain and keep going with the calpol / ibuprofen reg. Lots of fluids. Give juice either warm or ice cold to ease. Milk shake - whizz banana with milk and icecream to give energy and fluids. Lots of cuddles

My GP actually saifd to try and get them to eat a few scratchy things like crisps, biscuits or toast as it can help get rid of infection. Plenty of fluids, lots of love.
