Bone density testing

Can a 4 month old have a bone density test ?

For what reason? If the gp or consultant felt that it was necessary then yes I am sure they can

why are you concerned?

DD was dx aged 6 with a condition that is known to weaken the bones, she is now 11 & we have still been repeatedly told they would only test bone density in an adult/if she had been through puberty undiagnosed

MIL has same condition and has regular bone scans

J is a 8wk early prem with TOFS, he was in hosptial for 10wks and has been home for 6wks, he has broken his arm doing tummy time on play-mat, but hospital say his bones look fine on x-ray ????? but they cant be, so wondered if anything else we can do cause now im petrifried. GP says they only do the scans on old people x
