my DD has had very frequent runny nappies for about 3 days now, she is feeding fine and seems well otherwise but every couple of hours there is a small amount of runny poo (sorry TMI) and it seems quite mucus'y. I'm wondering is it time to visit the doc or is this something she will just get over?

as long as she is feeding well, and seems happy and alert, i would not worry yet

it might be she is reacting to something you ate (if you are BFing), it might also be she is getting too much foremilk and not enough hindmilk through "snacking"

it could be that she is actually a little constipated and the runny poo is what is managing to escape

or it might be a mild virus she has had

if she becomes unwell, seems in pain, refusing feeds etc get her seen. if you are still concerned in 24hrs, phone the GP or HV for advice

Thanks, it could be constipation cause she is straining when she poos which I wasn't understanding cause of the watery poos but maybe that's why they are so frequent, maybe she's doing 10 little ones instead of 1 big one.
