Tiny, hard white spots on scar

About a year ago dd(8) fell and cut the underside of her chin, it was a clean but deep cut and we took her to A&E where they glued it after a struggle to get the two sides to meet.

It has healed and was a normal red scar until about 2 months ago when three tiny white spots appeared, the spots are hard lumps but painless, I don't think they are growing but I am finding I notice them more and more.

Has anyone else seen this happen? It seems quite a petty thing to bother a doctor with but I'm not sure.

Yes my dd had a very deep cut under her chin that required a lot of stitches. When we went back for a check up the scar had a lot of little white spots on it, the doctor said that there were perfectly normal and cleared them all with a sterilised needle.

My dd (10) fell badly before Christmas and had a deep scrape on her knee, about an inch round. It took months to heal properly and she kept picking at it, which didn't help.

Since it finally healed about 6-8 white spots have grown on it and I was a bit worried. It's good to know they are normal.

My 4 year old daughter fell off her scooter in January and cut her chin open pretty deep they put steri strips on to close it back up and it healed over nicely too but now in April I've noticed 3 hard little white spots on the scar tissue too
