My 7 year old has been saying her tongue hurts for the last 2 days.

There is nothing on it, I don't know what to do.

She complains about it at bed time and says it is because she can't get to sleep.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I had this recently, went to the GP, antibiotics sorted it straight away.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 15/05/2011 19:49

All of her tongue or just a bit of it?

TheOriginalFAB · 15/05/2011 19:57

All of it. There is nothing on it at all, or under it.

How is your DD otherwise? Have her other pain issues been resolved now? I recall they were stopping her sleeping.

Perhaps oral thrush? Using natural yoghurt may help and gargling with salt water. But best take her to GP in case she needs antibiotics.

Her side pain has been sorted by the osteopath but she still has ankle pain and that will be harder to resolve as there is a problem with her bones.

She woke me at 11 crying and saying she couldn't sleep but she did go off. She is bright this morning and hasn't complained yet - other than when her brother was very mean to her Angry.
