DS is to be tested for food intolerance, I think it is with potato. I know a few people on here have had their children tested so I was wondering if you could share a bit of the process with me so I know what to expect when we go to the hospital. We don't have an appointment yet but cutting as much potato out of his diet as I can ( shildcare not withstanding) he is doing better.

I always thought it wasn't poss to test for intolerance as this is diff from allergy, the view being that it's usually done on the basis of exclusion diet - a bit like what you have already done, food diary etc (eg we did that with wheat). Also, if reactionis not instant (like in allergy), then it takes hours to see the reaction and often it's the build up that makes it worse.
He could be reacting to carb part or nightshade part of potatoes..?

Well the Dr refered us when I went to see her about it. She said that it was better to get blood taken at the hospital as he was so young.
