Can anyone recommend anywhere to buy prescription sunglasses?

Preferably online.

Thanks.

Oh and somewhere with quite a fast turnaround.

I would be pretty wary of buying children's sunglasses online. DD has a pair she used for skiing (refused the goggles). They came from one of the glasses shops and took an hour to make. I can't remember whether it was specsavers or the other one.

Hmm, I think you may be right about online - the check on fitting by professionals is quite important, isn't it?

I think Vision Express can turn them around quite quickly - I'll try there.

Have you ever enquired about lenses for your DD?

DD3 is 8, and I think it's a bit soon?

DD was 10 last week, she's been wearing glasses for 3 years or so. Luckily for us she isn't too vain. Yet. The last time she had an eye test she mentioned that her friends sister was getting contact lenses. The optician was really surprised that a Swiss optician would give them to a 13 year old. He said that, while she could be OK, he would be worried about eye infections etc.

A bit more, obviously some children need them medically, unless your DD does, and you would know by now, I think I wouldn't even start to consider them until my DD is 35.

Ach, see I'm a bit biased, I've been wearing them fine since I was 14 with only one teeny infection - one week off last year.

I think I struggle with glasses as I find the peripheral vision awful in comparison to lenses therefore want her to enjoy the completeness of vision that I achieve iyswim?

Obviously I won't rush it, and will never go through a quack optician.
