does the contact have to be?? I've heard its very infectious? My friends child has it, the spots have come out today. I saw my friend a few days ago, but did not see her son. Could my friend have passed something to me, and I've taken it home?
I'm not bothered - DS has to get it sometime, just wondering if I need to be especially vigilant!
Thanks!

I don't think it can be passed on through secondary contact. Its airborne, but doesn't live for that long

If you're son is going to get it, it will be anything from 2 weeks onwards, up to 6 weeks. So you won't even know if it was you're friend that passed it on
