Hayfever in 2 yr old

Hi everyone, need some advice about my 2 yr old who seems to have developed symtoms of hayfever. She has a constant runny nose and red eyes during the day (they are fine by morning). I have checked the nhs website and it suggests children don't get hayfever until about 7 so i am a bit confused. She is fine within herself and is only grumpy when her eyes are itchy. has anyone else got a child with this problem?

Yes, you can get medication for it from pharmacy suitable for 2 year old

DS first got severe hayfever when he was 2 - so severe that all health professionals in doctors, pharmacists etc queued up to have a look at him as his whole face swelled up and they hadn't seen it so bad before!
He has stuff on prescription from the doctor, but there are certainly things available from age 2 over the counter.
I think it is 'less likely' in under 7s rather than impossible.
