Single application sun cream - does it work?

Has anyone used it? On either them or their DC? Only having to apply it once sounds very appealing, but makes me suspicious - does it actually work?

We use the boots soltan 6 hour one as it covers both UVA and UVB. dd is sensitive to a lot of creams but this one is fine and does work very well.

We found they worked well - perfect for putting on for a school day, or for when we're out and about in the Summer.

I use Ultrasun (30 and 50) on my boys. DS2 has very 'pink and white' skin and burns easily, but the 50 lasts all day. You do need to put it on 10 minutes before exposure to the sun - or, at least, before it starts working - so when we were on holiday this year I was applying it before breakfast so they could go straight out swimming afterwards. This kept him unburnt in Turkey.

i like using them for school day particularly. have always worked fine for me. i apply when at school to give sligtly longer, but have managed to find an 8hr one this year rather than the 6hr one last year. do keep a track of no of hours though!
