2 month old dehydrated.. What to do?

My dd is nearly 2 months and i've noticed over the last few days that her fontanelle is sunken.
She's recently become a bit snotty and developed a little cough and it's been quite hot weather so i'm guessing she's dehydrated from the combination.
I'm not sure what to do as she's got plenty of wet nappies, normal poo, tears and her mouth isn't dry or anything. She does however seem quite sleepy. Apart from that it's just the soft spot.

Apparently you can't give babies under 4 months water, is this right? Should I take her to the doctor?

Advice would be much appreciated! (Forgive me - First timer!)

Thanks x

Is she taking milk as normal? If so and as she still has wet nappies I wouldn't be to worried tbh. If you are concerned though it will do no harm to get her checked out.

She's taking milk fine I think - It's hard to tell as she's been having problems with formula and has always eaten little bits at a time as it was causing her stomach pains. She's eventually settled on lactose free and a lot better but still only having little feeds, I think that's just the way she is to be honest.

I just wondered if there was anything I could do before having to take her to the docs!

I would take her to the doctors if the fontanelle is sunken. Does she have dry lips too? If nothing else just get her checked out, especially if she has a cold. Don't want to scaremonger but they won't shout, honest!

If you are worried, and you are, take her to the GP. Don't wait about.

Spoke to the HV and said she's absolutely fine, it was just me being too worried!
