Not sure if DS (8 weeks old) has a cold or not. Anyone able to help?

I think my DS might have a cold cos it seems like DS has a sore throat and a stuffy nose. Yesterday and today i've noticed that his cry sounds different as if his voice is hoarse and that's why I think he's got a sore throat. He's also had a stuffy nose for a few weeks now and I thought it was just hayfever as I suffer quite badly from hayfever too. So I really have no idea.
He's only 8 weeks old so I don't know if I can give him something to help until i take him to the doctors? Or should I wait to hear what the doctor says?

I had the same with my daughter but it turned out to be colic Weird i know best get to the doctors if your worried though always best :)

Thanks. That's weird I wonder if it could be colic then. I'm taking him to the doctors tomorrow morning to check everythings ok. I've also realised that he's been bringing up a lot of milk after his feeds yesterday and today which isn't like him at all so I'm a little worried. I'm really hoping the doctor will tell me there's nothing wrong. As a first time parent I don't really know what to expect. Good thing is I know doctors expect to see first time parents a bit anyway.
