unpleasant small coming from dd pores

I am not sure if I should take her to the Dr or not, I first noticed this a few weeks ago mainly from her mouth - she had lost a tooth so I thought it was due to infection so extra teeth brushing and salt rinses. The smell has continued though on and off, wafts of it when she is around, after a bath tonight she sat next to me and it was really strong - mainly coming from her arms not arm pit (10 years old), it is hard to describe the smell but it is not nice.
She went to the hospital a few weeks back with a non blanching rash - the second time this year - no explanation (other than it was not serious) could be given for it and it went after a few days. Any ideas?

Not sure if it helps but my Dh and my DS both get an odd smell around them when unwell. Not the usual 'oh thats a bas throat smell' but more an all over smell. DS just back from doctor as temp (also smells bad but don't think DH said that to doctor) and has antibiotics.
