Waxy ear

the GP said DD (2.5) had quite a bit of wax in one of her ears & suggested I put some olive oil in there to clear it out.

I've got myself a pippette, but have realised I don't know exactly what to do with it! How much should I put in? (a couple of drops?) when? (before bed?) and how often? (as a one-off?)

I do this on and off with ds as he has very waxy ears. I make sure the olive oil is body temperature and put one drop in at night when ds is asleep. I make sure he is on his side and pull the skin infront of his ear towards his cheek to help the drop go down his ear hole. After a couple of weeks you should get a huge plug of wax out!
