Dd2 has diarrhea, food poisoning or bug?

Dd2 had slightly odd poo's yesterday and has woken with diarrhea this morning, she seems her normal self (not ill) has no other symptoms, we havn't really been anywhere for 4 days and we have not been ill, we had a take away on Sat, dd2 had pizza (her sister did not eat any, so just dd2), could it be food poisoning or would it be more severe? theres also a chanse she could have eaten someting in the garden (plants) as she puts everything in her mouth due to her Autism. I'm ment to be going out in an hour and leaving dd2 with dh but not sure if i should leave her incase she gets worse (even though dh shoul be able to cope).

Could be anything, really. If she has no fever, is not vomiting, you haven't poisonous plants in your garden, I would just continue as you planned and go out.

I havn't got a clue whats in the garden, so many plants are poisonous, i dont think theres anything dangerous out there (i guess eating any plant could cause a bad tummy), she has no fever, no vomiting and seems ok (just a tiny bit grumpy but she can be like this on a normal day). I'm going to go out and leave her with dh, i need to get some shopping anyhow.

I would say it's a bug, Marne, or maybe something from the garden - no temp is a good sign.

Ds1 had campylobacter last year (proper food poisoning) and it started with a sudden temperature, feeling sick and a bad headache. Then the next day diarrhoea which went on for about ten days (awful). He was a poorly boy.

Try not to worry too much. Hope she is well again soon.
