don't know how much he's swallowed. rinsed his mouth out and trying nhs direct. He seems fine but don't want to leave it

Is his mouth bleeding, how does he seem in himself. If you cant get hold of NHS direct can you try your local OOH GP?

Sorry not much help, I am an 'over reactor' and would have whipped him to A&E.

Sorry forgot to add that you should be able to get the OOH number from the answer machine at your GP's surgery.
